This role is for a Transmission Planning Intern/Co-op with an anticipated start date of Jan 2022 to run into August 2022. Although Remote, it would be great (not necessary) if you are in Austin, TX area where this role's manager resides. The co-op intern will develop technical and interpersonal skills, while gaining a better understanding of the renewable industry. Candidates must be able apply their knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Power Systems to support the interconnection process for utility-scale renewable energy projects (wind, solar, energy storage, geothermal, and hydro).

This position will support the development and deployment of the Enel Innovation mission.  The Senior Innovation Analyst will play a key role in looking into the future of the renewable energy and in supporting the growth of Enel. Through the analysis of the business, the scouting of startups and companies to partner with and the development of ideas, the Analyst will identify, design and propose project opportunities able to increase the value, efficiency and sustainability of Enel activities and will manage their execution taking also care of their hand-over and supporting their large scale implementation in the business and the monitoring of the generated value.   This position will assist Enel by working across all business units to understand current, complex, and persistent problems faced by the organization.  By drawing from internal Enel Group resources and the broader innovation community, the Analyst will work with colleagues to define, propose and manage proof of concept projects that can be scaled to commercially viable solutions.

The Geospatial Solutions Team (GST) Lead of Business Development is a senior GIS developer who has extensive experience administering an enterprise GIS software development environment. The Team Lead will manage projects, tasks and develop timelines. Communication is expected clearly and often regarding bug enhancements and overall application development rollouts. This role is critical in bridging the business and technical requirements for all contributions. Additionally, this person will provide research and support the GIS Development and Siting team.
